Wondering what options are available after your player ages out of West Hartford Little League? We have an excellent option here in town with West Hartford Amateur Baseball Association (WHABA)! Founded in 2007, WHABA is committed to providing consistent instruction and play opportunities for youth baseball programs in West Hartford. These programs include the Alumni League, WHABA Spring Travel U13 and U14, the Tobacco Valley League, Pete Kokonis Summer League, Fall Baseball, and the West Hartford American Legion Post 96 programs.
When your player reaches age 13, WHABA offers a terrific U13 Transition Program program during the Fall season to help with their transition to the big diamond in the upcoming Spring season. This low-cost clinic meets on Wednesdays and Sundays, with each session lasting approximately 90 minutes. The program typically starts right after Labor Day weekend and continues through mid-October. It is typically supported by some of the same coaches and volunteers that your WHLL player may already know. More information about registration is available on their website.
