West Hartford U12 Red - Lindquist Tournement Opener
The West Hartford Little League U12 Red team lost its Lindquist Tournament Opener in Farmington to a very solid Burlington team 5 to 0. Burlington’s strong pitching kept the West Hartford bats quiet and their timely defensive plays kept the Red from getting any momentum.
James Eden pitched 3 strong innings for WH giving up only 1 walk and 3 hits. Burlington only had 4 hits all game but 2 came at key times with runners on.
Will Dickinson and James Doar came in one inning each for relieve giving up no runs and striking out 2 each.
Dickinson and Bryce DellaBianca both turned in nice defensive plays while Dickinson had 1 of the only 2 hits for West Hartford. James Morrisey added the other hit.
The WH Red play again Thursday in Farmington at 5:30 and then again on Saturday at 3PM in Farmington.

Hope you have had a great Memorial Day weekend! We are looking for a big showing at the parade this morning and all games are on following the parade as scheduled.
NOTE: WHLL Fields are under heavy construction as the Miracle League Field, playground, Field 2 bullpens and paving are being completed. PLEASE BE CAREFUL and mindful of hazards.

WHLL's primary fields are located at our WHLL Baseball Complex at Trout Brook Dr. and Asylum Ave. All field dimensions are regulation 200' from home plate to outfield fence.
