U11 Districts: WH Wahoos 14 Hartford Rago/Peters 0

The West Hartford Wahoos U11 team shut out Hartford Rago/Peters 14-0 to kick off their district play.  The Wahoos banged out 12 hits, the big blow a grand slam by Patrick O'Keefe (2-3, 2 runs, 4 rbi's) in the 4th inning.  Jeff LaRosa (2-3, double, 3 runs, rbi) and Joe Kitz (2-4, 1 run, rbi) each had two hits while Miles McCarthy-Reynolds, Grady Brockway, Joe Morrisey, Michael Mack, Spencer Altman and Burke Martindale each added hits on the night.  Brockway and McCarthy Reynolds both scored two runs.  Starting pitcher Joe Kitz went 2 scoreless innings giving up 2 singles while Jeff LaRosa went the last 2 innings in scoreless fashion striking out 4 and giving up 0 hits.
