U10 TRAVEL: WH U10 Travel Red Raiders 9- MANCHESTER A 7

The Red Raiders win opener on road, defeating Manchester A 9-7 in 4 inning.  A late start and darkness caused the game to go only 4, but that didn't stop the Raiders from focusing on their mission.  Dylan Mallinson took the mound in the first walking a few but finding his groove by striking out the side.  Sam Levine threw 1 2/3 inning with a 1,2,3 in the 2nd.  Dom Mongillo came in relief to face 2 batters and getting the final out of the 3rd. John Scrimgeour closed the game in Papelbon fashion, striking out the side to end the game.

    Bats were led by Andrew Siemienski 2-3 and Brian Puleo 2-2, Also with hits were Dylan Mallinson, Danny Harris, and John Scrimgeour All the Red Raiders continue to hit the ball hard and run the bases with confindence

Hope you have had a great Memorial Day weekend! We are looking for a big showing at the parade this morning and all games are on following the parade as scheduled.

NOTE:  WHLL Fields are under heavy construction as the Miracle League Field, playground, Field 2 bullpens and paving are being completed.  PLEASE BE CAREFUL and mindful of hazards.

WHLL's primary fields are located at our WHLL Baseball Complex at Trout Brook Dr. and Asylum Ave. All field dimensions are regulation 200' from home plate to outfield fence.
