Fair Ball!
Prior to the Dodgers and the Phillies regularly scheduled game, they continued the game that was postponed due to darkness tied at 17 after 7 innings. The Dodgers started off with a double by Brooks Clement who then scored on a single by Thomas Zinzarella. The Phillies came right back with a single by Sam Morgan who scored on a single by James Doar. 18-18 after 8. In the 9th, after he pushed across the 2nd run in the top of the inning for the Dodgers with an RBI single, Noah Fox was able to shut down the Phillies in the bottom of the inning to preserve a 20-18 victory for the Dodgers.
The next game was just as close, a 4-3 victory for the Dodgers. Sam Fiske pitched another gem for the Dodgers (5IP,11K) holding the Phillies to 3 runs. After the Dodgers took the lead in the bottom of the 5th, Paul Van Doren got the save holding the Phillies scoreless in the 6th. The Dodgers offense was led by Colby Glidden (2-3,2B,RBI) and Noah Fox (2-2,2R).
For the Phillies, Michael Lee (4.2IP,3K) kept the Dodgers off balance all day, holding them to just 4 runs. The Phillies offense was led by Tyrek Robinson (2-3,2B,2R).

WHLL's primary fields are located at our WHLL Baseball Complex at Trout Brook Dr. and Asylum Ave. All field dimensions are regulation 200' from home plate to outfield fence.
