It was a wet Monday night of baseball at Uconn.  The Rangers Starter Greg Olechna open the game with 2 2/3 of Scoreless innings, Joey lemieux came in and finish the game with only allowing one run.  The Rangers bats came alive with 2 hits from Connor Olechna.  Also Matt Burnett, Edward Salerno, Joey lemiuex and Greg Olechna eash getting one hit with Greg hitting a double to drive in two runs.  The Phillies had some nice pitching by Calvin Feuner and some good defensive plays as well.  So…

AAA Retirement Visions LLC Cardinals 8, Tax and Accounting Services A's 5

The AAA Cardinals beat the A's 8-5 in a well played game.  The A's were led by Emmett Coco who had a triple and single. Spencer Wimpe chipped in with two singles. Julian DeCampos pitched 3 strong innings. MAJORS: FEIGENBAUM & NAIR CARDINALS 12 - JOEYS PIZZA PIE PIRATES 3

The Cardinals bats came alive in a 12-3 win over the Pirates at Kennedy Park. AAA We Care Computer Pirates 10, Tax and Accounting Services A's 6-May 20th

 

  On a fine day for baseball the Pirates and the A's engineered a great game for the fans. The A's pitching staff featured strong performances by Emmett Coco who pitched 3 innings and had 6 K's in relief of starter and gamer Julian DeCampos who handled the first two frames.   Makeup games can  be a challenge for the coaches to arrange and sometimes the players arrive tired and uninspired. Well, that was not the case when the Angels and the Pirates met to play during a Saturday practice.   On a pleasant and blessedly DRY May evening the Pirates and the Dodgers renewed their cross country rivalry with a well-played game. New York Life Insurance Cubs 4, Solinsky Eye Care Pirates 4

On Wednesday night, under dark clouds, a storm gathered between the Cubs and Pirates.  Both teams fought hard and ended in an all-winning tied score of 4-4.  The Pirates saw a solid effort on defense and pitching. In a thrilling, heart-pounding game, the Phillies scored 5 times in the bottom of the 6th to win against a talented Reds team, 15-14.  The Phillies big rally was sparked by their middle-of-the order thunder, as Matt Nemergut doubled, Ryan Lafferty tripled, and Calvin Feulner then followed with a double to give the Phillies bench some life.  The rally continued, and Noah Laplante was the hero for the Phils, notching the game-winning walk-off RBI.
