MAJORS: TotalVision Eyecare Center A's 10 - Feigenbaum & Nair Scrap Metal Processing Cardinals 9

In their final regular season game, on a very hot night at UConn, the TotalVision Eyecare Center A's and the Feigenbaum & Nair Scrap Metal Processing Cardinals played a very entertaining game with the A's holding on for a 10-9 win. MAJORS: TotalVision Eyecare Center A's 8 Murtha Cullina Marlins 1

The TotalVision Eyecare Center A's continued their winning ways with a 8-1 win over the Murtha Cullina Marlins. The A's jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead in the top of the first with a lead off triple by Spencer Altman(1-2,3B,R) followed by RBI hits by Charlie Lage(1-2,R,RBI) and Ben Ellovich (1-2,2RBI's). On what turned out to be a beautiful night at Norfeldt the TotalVision Eyecare Center A's put together their best effort of the season with a 16-0 win over the CT Shower & Bath Phillies. As has been the norm so far this season the A's pitching and defense was outstanding. In this game the A's pitchers went even a step further by posting a combined no-hitter. MAJORS: TotalVision Eyecare Center A's 5 Retirement Visions LLC Dodgers 3

In a very well pitched and well played game the TotalVision Eyecare Center A's scored three runs in the top of the sixth to come from behind and defeat the Retirement Visions LLC Dodgers 5-3 at Norfeldt Field. The TotalVision Eyecare Center A's withstood a late rally by the Murtha Cullina LLP Marlins to run their record to 4-0 with a hard fought 9-7 victory. Leading the way for the A's was the birthday boy himself, Spencer Altman(2-3, HR, 3RBI's) who hit a booming late game home run into the Kennedy Park night. On a special Mother's Day Sunday for the WHLL the TotalVision Eyecare Center A's continued their early season winning ways with a 22-9 victory over the CT Shower & Bath Phillies. In a very well played Majors division game the TotalVision Eyecare Center A's improved their record to 2-0 by defeating the hard hitting Kimberly Clark Pirates 6-4 at the WHLL UConn Baseball Complex. 11 year old District All-Stars: Glastonbury American 5 West Hartford 0

In a very competitive opening game in the District 7 eleven year old tournament the Glastonbury Americans defeated West Hartford 5-0 at UCONN on Friday evening. Glastonbury, the defending District 7 ten year old champions and state semifinalist, were led by their star pitcher Ian Halpin(6IP, 2H, 7K,BB) who went the distance throwing a two hit shutout. MAJORS: ATHLETICS 6 PHILLIES 3

In a very exciting and well played game to finish off the Memorial Day weekend the Athletics came from behind to defeat a very game Phillies team 6-3. The TotalVision Eyecare Center A's and the Murtha Cullina Marlins  hooked up in just a great quarter-final round playoff game at UConn with the A's coming away with a 6-5 walk off victory. With the win the A's will move onto the semi-finals Wednesday night at UConn to take on the Braves.

Hope you have had a great Memorial Day weekend! We are looking for a big showing at the parade this morning and all games are on following the parade as scheduled.

NOTE:  WHLL Fields are under heavy construction as the Miracle League Field, playground, Field 2 bullpens and paving are being completed.  PLEASE BE CAREFUL and mindful of hazards.

WHLL's primary fields are located at our WHLL Baseball Complex at Trout Brook Dr. and Asylum Ave. All field dimensions are regulation 200' from home plate to outfield fence.
