MAJORS: BROTHERS ASSOCIATES PHILLIES 8 - KELLER MAINTENANCE BRAVES 1

The season began well for the Brothers Associates Phillies with a 8-1 win over the Keller Maintenance Braves on a sunny, but chilly day at Kennedy Memorial Park.  The Braves were paced by a very strong pitching performance by Sam Fiske who allowed no hits, no runs and struck out 10 in 4 innings of work.  Fiske was supported by strong hitting of Michael Mavredakis with a hit and a run scored and head's up base running by Andy Moise with 2 SB's and 2 runs scored.  In addition, the Phillies turned…See More

Majors: New Britain Rock Cats Twins 11 CT Bath and Shower Phillies 0

In one of their strongest total team outings of the season, the Twins bested the Phillies by a score of 11-0. Jake Campell led the way with his top pitching performance of the season with a complete game shutout in which he struck out 15 with no walks. Not being satisfied with just contributing on the mound, Campbell also went 3-for-3 with 2 RBI. Majors: New Britain Rock Cats Twins 10 - Feigenbaum & Nair Cardinals 0

The Twins shook off the potential rust from a multitude of rain-outs to notch a solid 10-0 win over the Cardinals in the Majors division on May 22nd.  The Twins were led on offense by Patrick O'Keefe's 2 hits (including a triple) and 2 RBIs, as well as with hits from Grady Brockway, D.H. MAJORS: New Britain Rock Cats Twins 23 - Kimberly Clark Pirates 4

Majors: TotalVision Eyecare Center A's 4 - New Britain Rock Cats Twins 2

The TotalVision Eyecare Center A's opened the 2011 season with a 4-2 win over the New Britain Rock Cats Twins in the Majors.  The A’s were led by the strong pitching of Eli Freilich (3.2 IP, 9K and 3H) and Charlie Lage (2.1 IP, 5K and H).  The Twins fought hard with Grady Brockway’s big pitching performance (2.2 IP, 7K and 2H) and the clutch hitting of D.H. West Hartford Memorial Day Parade at West Hartford Center

Every year, the West Hartford Little League has been proud to honor our Veterans by marching the Memorial Day Parade. This year, on May 31st, we will be marching to honor these heroes yet again. Every player is invited to march with their team. We will be meeting that morning at 9:30 AM on Four Mile Road south of Farmington Avenue. This year we are between Girls Softball and Youth Football. Majors: New Britain Rock Cats Twins 7 - Retirement Vision Dodgers 4

The Twins notched a playoff win against the Dodgers with a 7-4 victory.  Jake Campbell picked up the win by going 4 innings and striking out 8 with Grady Brockway then finishing out the game in relief.  Nathan Graber-Lipperman paced the offense with 2 RBI on a clutch hit.  The Twins success in the win was due in large part to aggressive base running (notably by Robert Seecharran) and excellent bunts for hits and to move runners over by Will Fowler, Jake Campbell and Andy Moise.  Declan Chill…

Hope you have had a great Memorial Day weekend! We are looking for a big showing at the parade this morning and all games are on following the parade as scheduled.

NOTE:  WHLL Fields are under heavy construction as the Miracle League Field, playground, Field 2 bullpens and paving are being completed.  PLEASE BE CAREFUL and mindful of hazards.

WHLL's primary fields are located at our WHLL Baseball Complex at Trout Brook Dr. and Asylum Ave. All field dimensions are regulation 200' from home plate to outfield fence.
