U10 TRAVEL: WH WHITE 9 VS ELLINGTON (B) 10

West Hartford played Ellington close this evening in a 10-9 finish with Ellington taking the lead in their last at bat. The game finished in 5 innings. West Hartford could not retake the lead in the top of the 5th.  WH had the lead from the get go led by pitchers Luke Gfeller and Chris Maglio who pitched 2 innings a piece.  Both had strong outtings but it was the bottom of the 4th that Ellington bats came alive and they also capitalized on a couple of WH errors.  In the first inning, on an…See More

U10 TRAVEL: WH U10 WHITE 18, WETHERSFIELD (BLUE) 9

Thursday, July 21 - The West Hartford White team came to play tonight.  The infield was solid, the bats were working, and the pitchers and catchers were all key to tonight’s win over Wethersfield.  WH threw some new pitchers tonight and we saw some great pitching.  Chris Maglio had his first start and gave up only 2 runs on one hit.  Anthony (Nino) Carabello came in to relieve striking out 3 batters in the 3rd inning giving up only one hit.  Bobby Gerity took control again in the 4th striking…See More

U10 TRAVEL: WH U10 TRAVEL WHITE 14, WETHERSFIELD (GREY) 12

West Hartford White won their first summer ball game tonight, 14-12, against Wethersfield (grey).  WH made some great plays in the field tonight starting with Anthony Carabello in the 4th inning throwing a runner out at home from left field.  Wethersfield attempted to turn third base and Anthony threw a bullet to Spencer Martindale at home who made an solid pro tag on the runner to end the inning.  This was followed by a similar play in the 6th inning.   Brian Brewer at short stop threw a gun…See More

U10 TRAVEL: ELLINGTON-A 7, WEST HARTFORD TRAVEL WHITE 6

The West Hartford U10 White team was edged out by Ellington-A team, 7-6, in their first regular summer season game in Ellington.  The coaches were impressed with the White team’s play and they were solid for most of the game giving up only 1 run through the first three innings.  Jamey Nadeau started for White and pitched two solid innings giving up just one run and no hits, striking out 3 Ellington batters.  Bobby Gerity and Vincent Nemergut came in relief for the last 3 innings.  The defense…See More

AAA: MANDELL JCC DODGERS 14 – BROTHERS ASSOCIATES LANDSCAPERS PHILLIES 9

The Dodgers came out on top against a hard hitting Phillies team today in the AAA finals.  The Dodger’s bats were out early in the first inning with John Scrimgeour leading off the game with a single (2 hits for the day).  Walker Benet and Brendan Battiston kept the rally going with a single and a double, and the Dodgers never looked back.  Brendan had two hits for the day and Orlando Castillo continued his streak also with 2 hits on the day and a great fly ball catch in right field in the 3rd…See More

AAA: MANDELL JCC DODGERS 7 - SEAMUS PAINTING LLC ANGELS 2

The Dodgers continued their streak this evening with another strong showing against the Angels both in the field and at the bat with an impressive 7-2 win over the Angels.  John Scrimgeour led the Dodgers with 4 great innings on the mound giving up zero runs, 1 hit and striking out 7 batters.  John also helped himself with some sharp fielding and a couple of putouts.  He was relieved by Vincent Nemergut who struck out 4 batters in the last two innings giving up only two hits.  At the bat John…See More

AAA: Mandell JCC Dodgers 18 - Keller Maintenance A's 7

AAA: Mandell JCC Dodgers 11 - Companions for Living LLC Marlins 8

AAA: Mandell JCC Dodgers 12 - Keller Maintenance A's 10

The Dodgers outlasted the A’s tonight by a score of 12-10 in a 3 hour marathon.  The Dodgers were led at the bat by Brendan Battiston with a line double deep to left center field, and Vincent Nemergut, Kyle Bridgman, Cyrus Gibson  and Andrew Siemienski each with singles.   Vincent Nemergut held the A’s to one run in three innings on the mound for the Dodgers including 6 K’s.  John Scrimgeour was strong in relief.  In the field David Giles, Vincent Nemergut and Jonathan Martin each had nice put…See More

Hope you have had a great Memorial Day weekend! We are looking for a big showing at the parade this morning and all games are on following the parade as scheduled.

NOTE:  WHLL Fields are under heavy construction as the Miracle League Field, playground, Field 2 bullpens and paving are being completed.  PLEASE BE CAREFUL and mindful of hazards.

WHLL's primary fields are located at our WHLL Baseball Complex at Trout Brook Dr. and Asylum Ave. All field dimensions are regulation 200' from home plate to outfield fence.
