Summer Ball - 2010

District All-Stars
West Hartford Little League participates in the post-season District 7 All-Star Tournament which is affiliated with the Little League World Series where the championship games are held in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The All-Star tournament allows children ages 9 - 12 to continue to play very competitive baseball into the summer. Our district, which is one of the strongest in the state, gives us the opportunity to compete against teams from the neighboring towns of Glastonbury, Newington, Rocky Hill, East Hartford, Hartford and Wethersfield.

Travel Baseball
Our Summer Travel Baseball Program is designed to complement our District All-Star teams. After District All-Stars, there are several tournaments that take place in our area and region. We would like to offer the opportunity for some of our baseball fanatics to keep playing throughout the summer.

These tournaments usually start in early to mid July and last until the beginning of August. There are normally 5 - 8 games per tournament. These tournaments are made up of some of the best teams in our area and are very competitive. Our travel teams also play what are called competitive “friendly games” against neighboring towns to fill out our schedule.
